God created the Universe and planned the History of Man to occur under specific and exacting time-tables. Nothing that occurs in our Universe is random. A hint of this is presented in the first chapter of Matthew, as we are told that there were exactly 14 generations between Abraham and David, 14 generations between David and the carrying away of Israel into Babylon, and then another 14 generations between the carrying away into Babylon and the arrival of Jesus Christ into the world (Matthew 1:17).

When we look at Biblical Prophecy, we find that it also incorporates specific times and periods of time. While many Christian Theologians begin their study of prophecy by jumping into the Book of Daniel or the Book of Revelation, God’s Word declares that the study of prophecy should begin in the Book of Genesis, for in the Book of Isaiah, we see that God is informing us that He has prophetically, “declared the end from the beginning”:

        Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else;

I am God, and there is none like me.

Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are

not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure.”

    Isaiah 46: 9,10.

Therefore, it seems that the appropriate place to start one’s study of Biblical Prophecy should be right where God states that it begins, “in the beginning” or in the opening chapters of the Book of Genesis.

When we read the opening chapters of Scripture in the Book of Genesis, two apparent challenges emerge. The first challenge being that we are told that God rested on the 7th day of Creation, when we know from God’s Word that “God has no need of rest” (Isaiah 40:28).  The second challenge is that God had told Adam that he would die in the day that he ate from the forbidden tree, when in fact Adam lived on until the ripe old age of 930 years old (Genesis 5:5). Both of these issues can be resolved however when we consider the fact that God’s Word is filled with numerous “Biblical Types”, as history is constantly in the process of repeating itself (Eccl. 1:9), and that Scripture also teaches that a “day” with the Lord is as 1,000 “years” with man” (II Peter 3:8).

When we bring these two concepts together, we can surmise that God’s Word in the Creation story may be indicating that God’s work upon the earth, which lasted for a period of 7 days, may indeed be a type of man’s work upon the earth, which will prophetically last for a period of 7,000 years.

God’s Day 1 – God separated the light from darkness.

Man’s 1st 1,000 years – Adam plunged humanity into darkness.

God’s Day 2 – The earth was covered with water, and God created the firmament and separated the waters above and below it.

Man’s 2nd 1,000 years – Mankind fell deep into sin and had to build an ark to protect themselves from the waters above and below it.

God’s Day 3 – God pooled the water bringing forth the “land”, and then created the  “seed” bearing plants and animals.

Man’s 3rd 1,000 years – Abraham was promised that his “seed” would be given the “land”.

God’s Day 4 – God created 2 lights, the greater to light the day the lesser the night.

Man’s 4th 1,000 years – Two lights were born into the world, The lesser, John the Baptist, and the greater Jesus, to spiritually light the world.

God’s Day 5 – God created the birds in the sky and the fish in the sea.

Man’s 5th 1,000 years – Believers were indwelt by the Spirit as a “dove”, and told to be “fishers of men”.

God’s Day 6 – God created man, and man was told to multiply and fill the earth.

Man’s 6th 1,000 years – Man multiplied exceedingly, bringing the population of the Earth to be from less than 1 billion people to over 8 billion people.

God’s Day 7 – God “rested”.

Man’s 7th 1,000 years – Man will cease from his toils and will rest. He will be ruled by Christ for 1,000 years during the Millennium.

The compounding of these historical facts are obviously too highly improbable to have occurred by “coincidence”. They clearly reveal that man’s history proceeds by means of God’s Sovereign Plan for mankind, and that the “7 Days of Creation” are possibly meant to be a type or foreshadowing of the length of time for man’s tenure on earth, a tenure that will likely last for a period of 7,000 years.

To place man’s first 6,000 years of work and self-rule into an historical time frame, it may be helpful to consider them in the light of the Archbishop of Usher’s rendering of Biblical time, which has been highly respected by most scholars throughout the years. By studying the Old Testament’s genealogical record, Archbishop Usher placed the year of Adam’s creation as being in the year 4004 B.C. This immediately causes a conundrum, for if we add the 6,000 years of man’s self-governance on to 4,004 B.C., we find that the completion of man’s 6,000 years of work would have had to have occurred in the year 1996 (1997, if we consider that there is not a “0” year linking the B.C. and A.D. calendars together). Since this paper is being written in the year 2025, we obviously know that Jesus’ Millennial Kingdom did not start in the year 1996. The answer to this issue however can be resolved by turning to the answer for all the challenges that a Christian might experience in life, that answer being, through Jesus Christ.

                                                               Jesus as the “Last Adam”

When we examine the Scriptures, we are told that Jesus is referred to as the “Last Adam”, which indicates that the lives of Adam and Jesus are also likely “types” of one another. In that we know that Jesus lived 33 ½ years on earth without sinning, it is entirely possible that Adam too, lived 33 ½ years before he had sinned. This brings about a rather interesting observation, because it shows that whereby “Adam at the age of 33 became a sinner while standing underneath a tree, Jesus at the age of 33, after being nailed to a tree, “became sin” for us (II Corinthians 5:21), that He might restore us to righteousness and undo what Adam had done (I Corinthians 15:45-49).

Therefore, if we subtract 33½ years from 4004 B.C., we come to the year 3970 B.C. as being the likely year of Adam’s Fall. If God’s timetable for man’s 6,000 years of work begins in the year that Adam declared his independence from God by sinning, then we now come to the year 2030 A.D. as a possible year or time frame for the initiation of Jesus’ Millennial Kingdom.

These conjectures that point us to the year 2030 A.D. as being a possible year or “time frame” for the initiation of man’s 7th 1,000-year period on earth during the 1,000-year Millennial rule of Christ are simply that: conjectures. We incorporate the use of the word “time frame” in recognition of the fact that mankind’s calendars are not necessarily in exact concordance with God’s. To establish the possible validity of these conjectures as being truths, Scripture admonishes us to find other indicators from within God’s Word, for all Truths, whether they be Legal, Prophetic, or Doctrinal, are to be established by more than one witness or attestation, as aptly elucidated here three times from God’s Word:

“One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in

any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three

witnesses, shall the matter be established.” Deuteronomy 19:15

“But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the

mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.’ Matthew 18:16

“This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three

witnesses shall every word be established.” I Corinthians 13:1

The question then arises, “Are there any other Prophetic Timelines within God’s Word that point to the time frame of the year 2030 as being a likely time for the initiation of Christ’s Millennial Kingdom?”  The answer, as we shall see, is a resounding, “Yes!”
